NOTES

Tarpon

Tampa Bay - Pinellas, FL

Although the season for catching tarpon is almost over, it's still possible to hook them in deeper waters. Stone crabs make a great meal for these royal fish, so they prefer areas where crabbing activity has been heavy. Watch out: once you've hooked one of these big fellas and are playing him close to your boat, he might just swallow your line whole!
